Jana Maneva-Chuposka to debut Pandemic Lovers exhibition in Venice

Macedonian visual artist Jana Maneva-Chuposka will present her solo exhibition, ‘Pandemic Lovers’, at the Venezia Kunst Depot Arts Space in Venice, Italy. The exhibition is scheduled to open on October 27.

The project utilizes drawing, figurative expression, and expressive lines to explore themes of intimacy, love, memory, and human closeness. The works examine the relationship between personal and collective experiences, focusing on the tension between presence and absence, as well as the need for proximity during periods of isolation and social crisis.

Maneva-Chuposka, a visual artist, designer, and researcher, integrates contemporary art with traditional culture. She currently serves as the president of the Association of Fine Artists of Macedonia (DLUM).
