Jana Nayagan hits Rs 250 crore worldwide gross

The Tamil action drama Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinoth and starring Thalapathy Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Mamitha Baiju, has crossed the Rs 250 crore mark in worldwide gross earnings. After a strong opening weekend, the film earned about Rs 143.4 crore net in India by its sixth day, with an overseas gross of roughly Rs 78.5 crore. The Tamil version contributed the bulk of the income, while Hindi and Telugu versions added modest amounts. Kerala alone generated more than Rs 14 crore, and total ticket sales across India have topped 5.8 million. The film opened on 23 July 2026; a digital release date on ZEE5 has not yet been confirmed.
