Jandarma General Command secures 110,000 TL salary promotion deal

The Gendarmerie General Command has finalized a salary promotion agreement for the 2026–2029 period. A consortium of three public banks—Ziraat Bankası, Halkbank, and VakıfBank—will provide a total of 110,000 TL per staff member.

The promotion package consists of 100,000 TL in cash and 10,000 TL in bank points. This total was reached following negotiations that began with initial offers around the 70,000 TL level.

Payments are expected to begin being deposited into personnel accounts starting in September 2026, following the completion of administrative protocols and the technical preparation of banking infrastructure. A definitive payment schedule will be announced once the final administrative signatures are secured.
