Jandir Milan elected president of Fiemt for 2027–2030 term

Businessman Jandir José Milan has been elected president of the Federation of Industries of the State of Mato Grosso (Fiemt) for the 2027–2030 quadrennium. The election, held on Friday (23) in Cuiabá, featured a single slate composed of 65 representatives from various industrial segments across the state.

Milan, who previously served two terms as president between 2012 and 2018, will succeed Silvio Cezar Pereira Rangel. The new administration is scheduled to take office on January 1, 2027. In addition to leading Fiemt, Milan will also preside over the regional councils of Sesi MT, IEL MT, and Senai MT.

The new board shows increased representation from the Rondonópolis region, with 12 leaders from local unions—including Sinduscon Sul MT, Sindimec Sul MT, and Siar Sul MT—joining the board and fiscal council. This regional presence is expected to strengthen the local economy and the construction and metalworking sectors.
