Jane Crummett adopts 90-day sardine-only diet

Jane Crummett, a 62-year-old retired military therapist, has undergone a drastic dietary change by consuming only canned sardines for 90 days. Following a weight plateau after a previous carnivore diet, Crummett adopted a 72-hour sardine fast method developed by Annette Bosworth, also known as “Dr Boz,” to accelerate metabolism and induce advanced ketosis.

Crummett consumes approximately four cans of sardines daily, supplemented with MCT oil, totaling about 1,500 calories per day. She reports that the high-fat fish diet has increased her energy levels, lowered her blood sugar, and alleviated physical pain. While she noted an initial loss of 5.4 kg of fluid within the first two weeks, medical experts have cautioned that consuming large amounts of sardines may lead to a buildup of mercury in the body.
