Jane Fonda Climate PAC distributes $5 million to political candidates

Jane Fonda’s Climate PAC has funneled more than $5 million into congressional, state, and local races during the 2025-2026 election period, according to recent federal campaign filings. The PAC has raised a total of $8 million, with $1.8 million allocated to operations and $5 million remaining in the bank.

The organization has provided $5,000 contributions to several candidates in competitive races, including Tennessee State Representative Justin Pearson and Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan. Other recipients include Dr. Annie Andrews, a Democratic Senate candidate in South Carolina.

Fonda, an outspoken social activist, has used the PAC to support candidates with progressive climate and political agendas. The funding has targeted key House races in states such as Pennsylvania and North Carolina, which are considered critical in determining the control of Congress.
