Jane Fonda Climate PAC supports Texas congressional candidate

Actress and activist Jane Fonda, through her JanePAC, has endorsed Democratic candidate Katy Padilla Stout in the race for Texas’ 23rd Congressional District. The district spans from San Antonio to El Paso and was left vacant following the resignation of Republican Tony Gonzales.

In a video released on Instagram, the environmental PAC also criticized Republican opponent Brandon Herrera. The clip targeted Herrera regarding past comments in which he appeared to defend the position that water is not a human right, a stance linked to previous remarks made by a former Nestlé executive. JanePAC provides financial backing to environmental advocates running for various elected offices across the United States.
