Jane Schoenbrun’s Camp Miasma slasher enters wide release

Jane Schoenbrun’s new meta-slasher film, ‘Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma’, has entered wide theatrical release. The film, which holds a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, follows a queer filmmaker, Kris Williams (played by Hannah Einbinder), who is tasked with rebooting a fictional 1980s horror franchise. During the production, Kris tracks down the original series’ ‘final girl’, Billy Presley (played by Gillian Anderson), a reclusive actress living in isolation.
