Singer Janet Jackson made a rare public appearance on October 22 at the Dancers Against Cancer Gala of the Stars, held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. Jackson wore a black lace Christian Siriano gown featuring a structured peplum silhouette and long sleeves.

During the event, Jackson presented the Icon Award to rapper Missy Elliott. Jackson and Elliott, along with emcee Queen Latifah, coordinated in all-black ensembles. Jackson later shared a heartfelt tribute to Elliott on social media, celebrating their long-standing friendship and Elliott’s status as a musical icon.

The gala serves to raise funds for dancers and choreographers and their families who have been impacted by cancer. Jackson, who was honored at the same event in 2025, attended alongside host Maks Chmerkovskiy.
