Janette Manrara moves to stage acting following BBC departure

Professional dancer and former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ presenter Janette Manrara has announced a career transition to stage acting. Following her departure from the BBC companion show ‘It Takes Two’, Manrara will join the cast of the world premiere of the play ‘Affluenza’ at London’s Riverside Studios.

Written and directed by Andy Sandberg, ‘Affluenza’ is a dramatic production inspired by true events involving a legal defense centered on power and privilege. The play explores the consequences of a devastating accident caused by a teenager’s drunken driving. Manrara will perform alongside a cast including Noah Schnapp, Rupert Young, Juliet Cowan, and Wallis Currie-Wood.
