Jang Woo-jin wins WTT Champions Montpellier men's singles title

South Korean table tennis player Jang Woo-jin became the first Korean athlete to win a WTT Champions singles title. Competing in Montpellier, France, Jang secured a dramatic 4-3 comeback victory against Germany's Patrick Franziska in the men's singles final.

After falling behind 1-3 in games, Jang won three consecutive games to clinch the championship. His path to the title included victories over Lin Yun-ju of Taiwan, Liang Jingkun of China, and Hugo Calderano of Brazil. For his victory, Jang receives 40,000 USD and 1,000 ranking points.

In the women's singles category, China's Sun Yingsha claimed the title after defeating Kuai Man. South Korea's Shin Yu-bin was eliminated in the round of 16 following a loss to Sun Yingsha.
