Jann Arden marries Icelandic author Thordis Elva

Canadian singer and author Jann Arden has married Icelandic author and activist Thordis Elva. Arden announced the nuptials on social media, sharing photos of the couple in wedding attire with the caption, “Wife and wife.”

The couple, who became public on Instagram over a year ago, were engaged on New Year’s Eve. Arden has shared details regarding their wedding preparations on her podcast in recent months. Several public figures, including Chelsea Handler and Jillian Harris, reportedly attended the ceremony.

Arden is a Juno Award winner and recipient of the Order of Canada, known for hits such as “Insensitive” and “Good Mother,” as well as her role in the CTV comedy “Jann.”
