Jannik Sinner joins inaugural Explora III Mediterranean cruise

World No. 1 tennis player Jannik Sinner served as the first guest aboard the LNG‑powered cruise ship Explora III, accompanying the opening leg of the brand’s Mediterranean Prelude Journey from Genoa to Marseille on 24‑25 July. During the voyage guests took part in interactive wellness and social experiences, including Q&A sessions where Sinner discussed discipline, mindset and his performance philosophy.

The cruise also launched the “In Balance: A Jannik Sinner Ocean Wellness Programme,” a signature offering developed with Explora Journeys. Sinner’s performance team – Simone Vagnozzi, Darren Cahill, Umberto Ferrara and Andrea Cipolla – led additional sessions. At the event, President Anna Nash welcomed Sinner as the first Honorary Diamond Member of the Explora Club and presented a commemorative diamond chaton. Together with Captain Serena Melani, Sinner inaugurated the ship’s new padel court, and the opening concluded with a charity gala dinner attended by representatives of the Jannik Sinner Foundation, MSC Foundation and Explora Journeys.
