Jannik Sinner tops Forbes list of highest-paid tennis players

Jannik Sinner has become the highest-paid tennis player in the world according to the latest Forbes rankings. The Italian professional earned an estimated $58 million over the last 12 months, consisting of $23 million in on-court prize money and bonuses—the highest on-court figure ever recorded in the list—and $35 million from endorsements.

Carlos Alcaraz follows in second place with $53.7 million, though he leads Sinner in off-court earnings with $38 million. Serena Williams holds the third position with $40.1 million, primarily driven by endorsements following her recent return to the tour. For the first time in the ranking's 19-year history, women outnumber men in the top ten.

Other notable entries include Iga Świątek, who ranks eighth with $20.5 million in total earnings, and Alexander Zverev, who returned to the top ten at ninth place with $18.7 million. The total earnings for the top ten players reached approximately $333 million, a 17 percent increase from the previous year.

Amidst these financial milestones, Sinner has been managing a knee injury that forced him to withdraw from the US Open. During a recent visit to Juventus, he discussed the mental challenges of handling high-pressure environments with the team and staff.
