Jannik Sinner shifted to Court No.1 as Wimbledon schedule changes with Djokovic matching Federer record

World No.1 Jannik Sinner was moved from Centre Court to the smaller Court No.1 for his third‑round Wimbledon match against American Jenson Brooksby. The change, made by tournament organisers to avoid a late start, also gives Sinner a chance to break his personal ace record at the All England Club, after recording 53 aces in his first two matches.

Novak Djokovic continued his successful defence, beating France's Arthur Rinderknech in a three‑hour match to equal Roger Federer's 105 Wimbledon singles victories. Russian Daniil Medvedev was eliminated, while Germany’s Jan‑Lennard Struff reached the round of 16. In the women’s draw, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka and American Coco Gauff both advanced, with Gauff surviving a three‑set challenge from compatriot Claire Liu.

The updates reflect the evolving storyline of Wimbledon 2026, highlighting scheduling adjustments, individual performance milestones and the progress of top players in both the men’s and women’s draws.
