Jannik Sinner to Open Wimbledon as Top Seed

Italy’s Jannik Sinner will make his Wimbledon debut on Monday, 29 June, opening the men's singles draw as the world No. 1 and defending champion. Before the Grand Slam, he will compete in the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic, an exhibition event at London’s Hurlingham Club from 23 to 27 June. The tournament’s roster includes Flavio Cobolli, Luciano Darderi, Casper Ruud, Karen Khachanov, Learner Tien and Cameron Norrie. Sinner’s matches at the exhibition will be broadcast live on Super Tennis and streamed via the same platform, with textual live coverage on OA Sport.

The Wimbledon draw has been reshaped by injuries to several top players, but Sinner remains the highest‑seeded competitor, aiming to defend his title after a premature exit at Roland Garros earlier in the season.
