Jannik Sinner tweaks training ahead of Wimbledon defence

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner said he is taking steps to avoid a repeat of his second‑round exit at the French Open, where he struggled with the heat in Paris. He skipped the Queen’s Club tournament this year to concentrate on training, implementing changes to his preparation routine and other aspects of his game. Sinner reported feeling mentally strong after a warm‑up match in Harlington, West London, where he defeated British No. 1 Cameron Norrie 6‑3, 6‑3 on the hottest June day recorded in the United Kingdom. He aims to claim a second Wimbledon title and his fifth Grand Slam overall, building on his victory over Carlos Alcaraz the previous year.

The Italian player emphasized that the new training regime, conducted in warm conditions in Monaco, is intended to minimise the chances of early exits and keep him in peak condition for the upcoming championships.
