Janus Henderson appoints Leonardo López as Sales Director

Janus Henderson has appointed Leonardo López as the new Executive Director of Specialized Sales. Based in Madrid, López will oversee commercial operations to expand the asset manager's business across the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America.

López will lead a team of eleven professionals and report directly to Stefan García, the head of the EMEA region. His primary focus will be driving the growth of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and bringing alternative market solutions to clients, including insurance companies, asset managers, and family offices.

With over twenty years of institutional experience, López joins from ODDO BHF Asset Management, where he served as national director for both target regions since 2016. His previous career includes leadership roles at Source ETF (acquired by Invesco), Threadneedle Investments, Inversis Banco, CM Capital Markets, BBVA, and Banco Zaragozano.
