Japan Airlines introduces FOD streaming content to in-flight entertainment

Japan Airlines (JAL) has launched a new in-flight entertainment service featuring content from FOD, the video streaming service operated by Fuji TV. Starting September 1, passengers on both domestic and international JAL flights can access select Fuji TV dramas.

The initial lineup includes three popular titles: ‘Long Vacation’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, and ‘silent’. Availability of specific titles and the total number of available works may vary depending on the aircraft type.

To commemorate the launch, JAL is offering a promotional campaign for passengers traveling during September. Customers are eligible for a one-month free coupon for the ‘FOD Premium Standard Course’, which typically costs 1,320 yen per month. This offer is intended for first-time FOD Premium subscribers and requires registration via the website using a credit card.
