Japan announces 2026 national football and karate tournament schedules
The 106th Emperor's Cup JFA All‑Japan Soccer Championship will hold its second‑round match on 26 August 2026 at 18:30 at Toyota Stadium in Toyota, Aichi. The fixture pits J‑League side Nagoya Grampus against the winner of a play‑off between the representatives of Tottori and Kumamoto prefectures.
Japan’s under‑21 men’s football team’s programme for the 20th Asian Games is also set. The tournament opens on 16 September 2026 and the team will face Hong Kong/China, Kyrgyzstan and Thailand in the group stage.
