Japan announces AI training seminars for small businesses and building‑maintenance sector
The 21 Aomori Industrial Support Center will host an in‑person AI utilization seminar for mid‑level managers of small‑to‑medium enterprises on 8 October 2026. The one‑day session at Polytech Center Aomori will cover AI fundamentals, machine‑learning basics, generative AI, and hands‑on exercises using tools such as Copilot. It is limited to 15 participants, costs ¥3,300 per person (with possible subsidies), and will be led by Takeshi Goto of JMTC.
A separate free online seminar will be held on 24 July 2026, focusing on converting fragmented, person‑dependent information into a company asset within the building‑maintenance industry. The program will address staff turnover, standardising operations, and preparing data for future AI applications. Speakers include the CEO of Japan Real Estate Management Co. and a manager from KSK Business Solutions. The hour‑long Zoom session runs from 16:00 to 17:00 and is open to anyone interested in building‑maintenance digital transformation.
