Japan Automobile Federation to develop automotive trading card game

The Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) has announced the development of a new trading card game titled ‘DRIVE CARD GAME’. The project aims to introduce the appeal of automobiles to younger generations and create new car enthusiasts through interactive play.

Developed in collaboration with various automobile manufacturers, the game is designed to allow players to learn about vehicle characteristics while playing. The development is being handled by Next Play, the company behind the ‘ONE PIECE Card Game’. The product is scheduled for release in early summer 2027.

JAF intends to use the profits generated from the game to fund social contribution activities, including disaster relief efforts through the JAF Road Service Special Support Team.
