Japan business seminars to address evolving IPO and startup growth strategies
Various upcoming seminars in Japan will focus on evolving strategies for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and startup growth.
On April 26, Kanmu Inc. representative Hachimaki will speak at a study session organized by THE BRIDGE in cooperation with Mitsubishi UFJ Innovation Partners. The session will cover ‘Swing-by IPOs’—M&A activities conducted with the intention of a future public listing—and capital policies for startups.
Additionally, on August 31, the Fukuoka Stock Exchange will host the ‘IPO Challenge Academy 2026 5th Open Seminar.’ Hiroaki Kato, representative director of the IPO Todoroki Association, will present on the shifting landscape of domestic IPOs, discussing why traditional approaches to selecting lead managing securities firms may no longer be effective in the changing market structure.
