Japan capital spending data due amid Asia-Pacific economic updates
Japan is scheduled to release second-quarter capital spending figures, with expectations indicating a 0.2 percent year-on-year decline following three months of flat readings.
Other significant economic data releases in the Asia-Pacific region include preliminary August trade numbers from South Korea, where exports are projected to rise 62.6 percent annually and the trade surplus is estimated at $30.70 billion. Australia is set to report July building approvals and second-quarter current account figures, with a projected current account deficit of A$29.7 billion.
Indonesia will release July trade data and August inflation figures. Projections for Indonesia suggest imports will increase 24.10 percent year-on-year, while exports are expected to grow by 4.50 percent.
