Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-15) advances to quarter-finals

The 41st Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-15) has progressed through the knockout stages, determining the lineup for the round of 16 and quarter-finals.

In the round of 16, Kyoto Sanga F.C. U-15 secured a spot in the quarter-finals after a 2-1 comeback victory against Cerezo Osaka U-15. Despite conceding their first goal of the tournament in the second half, Kyoto Sanga equalized via a penalty by Hinata Takezawa and secured the win with a goal from Kenji Takeda.

Other notable results from the round of 32 included FC La Vida defeating Lip Ace 2-0, and several J-League academies advancing, including Vissel Kobe, Yokohama F. Marinos, and Kawasaki Frontale.
