Japan Crane Game Association to establish permanent certification center
The Japan Crane Game Association has announced that the ‘Crane Game Master Test’ will be permanently established at the Everyday Tottekiya Tokyo Main Store in Yashio, Saitama, starting October 31, 2026.
The certification program, which offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-grade levels, provides instruction on technical skills such as pushing, inserting, and threading items with the crane arm. The establishment of this second location aims to improve accessibility for residents in the South Kanto and Tokyo areas, moving away from the previous single-location model in Okegawa.
By making the testing permanent, the association intends to increase frequency with the goal of offering sessions daily. Additionally, the Tokyo location will implement multilingual support and dedicated interpreters to accommodate the increasing number of inbound foreign tourists seeking unique Japanese pop culture experiences.
