Japan educational institutions hold recruitment and technical college briefings

Educational institutions in Japan are conducting recruitment and information sessions for students and professionals. The Osaka City Board of Education has announced five briefing sessions scheduled between August and October 2026. These sessions aim to recruit instructors for kindergartens, elementary schools, junior high schools, and specialized roles such as school nurses and design education.

Separately, the KOSEN FES2026 joint information sessions for national, public, and private colleges of technology were held in Tokyo and Osaka. The event highlighted the high demand for technical talent, specifically noting that the job opening ratio for Future Design Engineers (FDE)—highly skilled technicians capable of identifying and solving industrial problems—has reached approximately 800 to 1. The sessions featured demonstrations, student talks, and information on upcoming campus expansions in Shiga, Aichi, and Fukuoka.
