Japan Femtech Association to debut at Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon EXPO 2026
The Japan Femtech Association will make its first appearance at the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon EXPO 2026, held at MUFG Stadium on October 16–17, 2026. As part of the Tokyo Marathon Foundation’s sports legacy project, the association aims to promote ‘Femrun’—an initiative combining femtech and femcare with running to support female athletes.
The exhibition booth will feature several interactive elements, including bone density measurements and a ‘bone health animal diagnosis’ app. Visitors can also participate in ‘touch and try’ sessions with various femtech products designed for menstrual cycle management, pelvic floor training, and post-run recovery.
Additionally, the association will display survey results regarding the health challenges women face while running. A recent study indicated that 46.2% of female respondents cited menstrual cycles, PMS, or menopause as barriers to running. To encourage education, the association is offering free examinations for its Level 3 Femtech Certification (Femrun version), with successful participants being named ‘Femtech Ambassadors’.
