Japan fitness sector sees new competition, pilates studio, and wellness salon launches

Several new fitness and wellness initiatives are launching in Japan. World Fit Co., Ltd. has announced the ‘BEYOND CUP 2026’ body makeup competition, scheduled for November 7 in Osaka and November 15 in Tokyo. The event focuses on personal growth and physical transformation, offering various categories including physique, bikini, and ‘before and after’ assessments.

In the wellness sector, Stadium Co., Ltd. is launching ‘Karada Kenkyujo oNeself+’ on the FANTS platform. Led by yoga instructor Naomi Narita, this online salon provides adult women with tools for self-care, including yoga, posture correction, and nutritional guidance.

Additionally, LAVA International has opened a new ‘Rintosull’ machine pilates studio at the Apita Nagoya Kita shopping center. The studio utilizes specialized reformer machines and large screens to assist beginners in achieving better posture and physical conditioning.
