Japan food festivals scheduled for late 2026

Various food and beverage festivals are scheduled to take place in Japan during late 2026.

In Funabashi, the ‘National Umeshu Festival in Funabashi 2026’ will be held at the Funabashi Racecourse on September 22, 23, 26, and 27. The event will feature over 120 varieties of plum wine (umeshu) from across Japan, including tastings, sales, and pairings with food. A special collaboration with nearby shopping centers Lalaport TOKYO-BAY and Lalaport Terrace TOKYO-BAY will offer promotional activities, such as dice challenges and trial tickets for shoppers.

Additionally, the ‘Hankyu Ishibashi Bar 2026 Autumn’ event will take place near the Hankyu Ishibashi Handai-mae Station in Ikeda City. Running from September 13 to October 25, 2026, the month-long festival involves 85 participating establishments offering special menu items. Attendees can participate using a ‘Bar Card’ and engage in a stamp rally to win prizes.
