Japan Food Selection announces 102nd award winners

The 102nd Japan Food Selection, a consumer-focused food and beverage evaluation system organized by the Japan Food Analyst Association, has announced its latest award winners.

In the Tohoku region, several products received Grand Prix honors, including smoked chicken gizzards and breast meat from Pri Foods Co., Ltd., and white apple brandy from Mohodori Distillery. Abe Kamaboko Store also received recognition for its premium sasa-kamaboko. These products were evaluated based on taste, quality, packaging, and safety.

Additionally, the growth-support drink NOBIACE, developed by For-S Co., Ltd., was awarded a Gold Medal. The drink, designed for adolescents, was praised by food analysts for its nutritional profile—including essential amino acids and moringa—and its palatable cocoa flavor.
