Japan Footgolf Association hosts two major tournaments in August

The Japan Footgolf Association held two major tournaments in August. The Footgolf Japan Tour 2026 Hokkaido Open took place on August 1 and 2 at the Golf 5 Country Bibai Course in Hokkaido. The event featured top players, including representatives for the 2026 World Championship, competing over 36 holes of stroke play.

Additionally, the third round of the All Japan Junior Footgolf Tour 2026 was held on August 6 at Hitachi no Kuni no Kenrakuen in Ibaraki Prefecture. This venue is a newly certified course for the association. The junior tournament focused on nurturing the next generation of players, with elementary and junior high school students competing in their first official match at the strategic new course.
