Second‑round matches of the 108th National High School Baseball Championship were held across several Japanese prefectures on July 11‑13, 2026.

In Shiga, the Tiger Princess‑Omi Brothers clash took place at HPL Baseball Park. The Niigata tournament featured eight games across four venues, with teams such as New Tsukawa High and Kashiwa High competing. Kagawa’s round at Takamatsu’s Rekuzamu Stadium saw Marugame‑West beat Takamatsu North 5‑4, while other matches concluded with close scores.

Toyama’s prefectural tournament introduced a designated‑hitter rule, with High‑School Commercial (Koukou Sho) rallying to win after trailing early. Akita’s prefectural bracket highlighted the Minami vs. Chuo showdown at Itoken Stadium Yokote, a pivotal elimination game. Tochigi hosted seeded schools including Sakushin and Sano Nihon University, continuing their bid for a Koshien berth. Fukui’s first‑day results recorded six victories that moved teams such as Fukui Agricultural and Okuzukami Akiyoshi into the second round.
