Japan hosts digital security and workstyle transformation events

Various regional events in Japan are scheduled for October 2026 focusing on digital security and workplace evolution.

In Yokohama, JCA-NET will host a workshop on October 13 regarding methods for individuals and groups to counter surveillance by governments and big tech companies. The session aims to provide practical advice on protecting personal information, managing passwords, and evaluating the risks associated with using major digital platforms.

In Kagoshima, the National Workstyle Transformation Awards 2026 Kyushu/Okinawa regional competition will take place on October 16. Organized by the Japan Digital Transformation Promotion Association, the event features presentations from four organizations demonstrating how they have utilized digital tools and AI to reform working practices and address labor shortages.
