Japan hosts major AI and DX exhibitions showcasing advanced technologies

NEC returned to the Hospital Show on 6 August 2026, presenting AI‑driven solutions aimed at reducing staff workload and improving hospital management. The company demonstrated its MegaOak AI Medical Assist service for automated medical document creation, a cloud‑based AI decision‑support system for hospital administration, and a forthcoming AI‑based management analysis tool.

Separately, three concurrent expos—DX System Development Expo, Manufacturing DX Expo and AI Innovation Tokyo—are scheduled for 3‑4 September 2026 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center in Hamamatsucho. The free, registration‑required event will feature around 50 companies, attract roughly 3,000 visitors, and showcase the latest in system modernization, smart‑factory solutions, and generative AI technologies, with seminars from AWS, Google Cloud, Daihatsu and other partners.
