Japan hosts major fireworks events in Miyagi and Kyoto
Major fireworks events are being organized and held across Japan. In Miyagi Prefecture, the ‘Tohoku Future Art Fireworks 2026 — March to Tomorrow Keisuke Kuwata SP’ took place in Wataru on September 13. The event, which drew approximately 20,000 attendees, synchronized high-end fireworks with a musical performance by Keisuke Kuwata. The program included songs such as ‘Ashita e no March,’ reflecting on the 15 years since the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake.
In Kyoto, preparations are underway for the ‘Arashiyama Autumn Fireworks 2026.’ A special VIP viewing area has been announced for October 11 and 12, 2026, located at the Horin-ji Temple observatory. This exclusive area, limited to 200 guests, will offer views of the Togetsukyo Bridge and Sagano, accompanied by live jazz, pop music, and traditional Saga Kyogen performances.
