Hokkaido to host job fair for foreign talent recruitment

Hokkaido is organizing a joint corporate interview event scheduled for October 17, 2026, to facilitate the recruitment of foreign talent. The event aims to connect companies with international workers, including students and those with specific skilled worker or technical visas.

Participating companies can choose between in-person or online formats. The in-person session will be held at the Sapporo55 Building in Sapporo, while the online option allows companies to reach talent both within and outside the prefecture. Recruitment is currently open for companies headquartered or operating within Hokkaido.
