Japan initiatives target management of inherited vacant houses

Various organizations in Japan are launching initiatives to address the issue of vacant houses resulting from inheritance and relocation.

Project One Co., Ltd. will host a seminar on October 18, 2026, focused on transforming vacant homes into profitable assets. The session aims to help owners in regions including Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hyogo understand the risks of property deterioration and explore revenue-generating strategies through the Aksapo service.

Additionally, House Freedom Co., Ltd. will participate in a free inheritance and gift consultation event in Onojo City, Fukuoka, on September 26 and 27, 2026. The event provides access to experts in taxation, law, and real estate to help individuals decide whether to sell, utilize, or maintain inherited properties before they become neglected vacant homes.
