At the national Inter-High School Championships held on August 2, high‑school hammer‑thrower Miumi Danwa (花園・丹羽美海) recorded a personal best of 53.52 m, finishing fourth in the women's event.

In the same competition, the men's gymnastics team from Sakushin Gakuin scored 236.900 points, securing third place for the fourth consecutive year and extending the school's six‑year podium streak. Individual all‑around gymnast Takashi Tanida (谷田智治) earned 80.600 points, also placing third for the second year in a row.
