Japan-Korea Exchange Festival 2026 to be held in Tokyo

The Japan-Korea Exchange Festival 2026 in Tokyo is scheduled to take place from September 25 to September 27, 2026. For its 18th year, the event is moving its venue from Komazawa Olympic Park to the Korean Cultural Center in Japan in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Under the theme ‘A New Step Toward a Better Future,’ the festival will feature a variety of programs including music, dance, Korean cuisine, K-Beauty, and traditional cultural experiences. The event aims to foster connection between people through diverse interactive content.

Performance highlights include a K-pop concert by singer-songwriter Lee Mujin, street dance collaborations between the Korean studio 1MILLION and the Japanese team Valuence INFINITIES, and a classical music collaboration featuring violinist Lee Hyun-jung and pianist Haruna Koide. Other scheduled performances include non-verbal LED shows by Nukkim Communication and K-pop dance stages.
