Japan launches logo competition for 75th anniversary of relations with Pakistan

Japan has launched a global digital logo design competition to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Pakistan, which will be celebrated throughout 2027.

The competition invites participants of any age from anywhere in the world to submit original designs that reflect the friendship, partnership, and close ties between the two nations. The winning entry will serve as the official logo for all commemorative events and activities held during the anniversary year.

Submissions must be in JPEG, PDF, or EPS format and include a written explanation of approximately 80 words. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan has specified that the use of generative AI in logo designs is not permitted. Entries must be original, unpublished, and free of offensive, political, or religious promotional content. The deadline for submissions is October 23, 2026, with the winner expected to be announced in late December 2026.
