Japan launches new initiatives to support student career design and job hunting
Educational and corporate entities in Japan are launching new initiatives to address the increasing complexity and early onset of university student job hunting.
Tokyo Keizai University will host the ‘Career Design Forum 2026’ on October 21, 2026. The event aims to facilitate dialogue between students, companies, and universities regarding the changing landscape of recruitment and career formation. The forum will feature a special lecture by Yutatsu Sueda, a Managing Executive Officer at Hakuhodo DY ONE, alongside panel discussions and reports from current students.
In a separate move, FULL HOUSE Co., Ltd. has launched a support program specifically for students graduating in 2028. The program provides free, systematic learning content covering 17 themes of the job-seeking process. This initiative is designed for use by universities, recruitment agencies, and student organizations to help students navigate self-analysis, industry research, and interview preparation.
