Japan Logistics Systems Association announces 2026 lecture series

The Japan Logistics Systems Association (JILS) has announced a series of lectures and case study presentations scheduled for October and November 2026. These events aim to share logistics improvement practices to promote sustainable logistics and address challenges arising from recent regulatory changes.

In the Kansai region, a presentation on October 20 will feature 11 case studies from 10 companies, including Ezaki Glico, Kubota Logistics, and Misumi Group. A special lecture by Kubota will focus on corporate transformation. In Kyushu, events on October 29 and November 27 will feature speakers from Subaru and SBS Holdings, focusing on logistics-driven reform and technology strategies.

Additionally, OptiMind CEO Ken Matsushita is scheduled to speak at the Logistics National Convention 2026 on October 6. His presentation, titled ‘AI that can solve logistics, and AI that cannot,’ will analyze the distinction between learning-based, optimization-based, operational logic, and generative AI to help management make informed technology selections.
