Japan releases character‑themed care and My Number card collection

A new product line called the “Care‑tomo Collection” is being launched in Japan. The range includes a compact clinic‑file for storing medication booklets, appointment cards and other medical documents, as well as a dedicated case for the My Number identification card. Both items are offered in five designs featuring licensed characters such as Snoopy, Moomin, the Minions and others, with additional non‑character patterns for adult tastes.

Each clinic‑file measures 190 mm × 140 mm, contains multiple pockets, a sliding pocket and a rubber strap to prevent drops, and can hold up to two medication booklets and twelve cards. It is priced at ¥990 (tax included). The My Number card case, made from durable PVC, comes in a photo‑covering version and a visible‑photo version, holds two cards, and sells for ¥462 each. The collection is scheduled to hit stores on 3 August 2026.
