Japan rolls out limited‑edition Haruhi Suzumiya merchandise for 20th anniversary
To mark the 20th anniversary of the anime series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, a special vending machine dispensing original‑label cans featuring the characters was installed at Rarato‑koen in Nishinomiya. The cans were on sale from 10 July 2026 through 24 September 2026 at the mall location and, from 28 July, also at the Don Quijote Nishinomiya store.
In addition, a line of 60‑centimetre plush toys of Haruhi, Mikuru Asahina and Yuki Nagato was launched. Each figure sells for ¥22,000 (tax included) and could be reserved on the TAITO GEAR & GOODS website between 24 July 2026 and 31 August 2026, with shipments slated for January 2027. A parallel X (Twitter) campaign offered coupon codes to users who followed the official account and reposted promotional posts.
