Japan rolls out summer 2026 museum and railway stamp rally events
From July 18, 2026, the Kawasaki City museums and attractions will host the Ikuta Ryokuchi Stamp Rally. Participants can collect stamps at five sites – the Okamoto Taro Museum, the Japan Folk House Village, the Kawasakishiro & Green Science Museum, the Todoroki Administrative Service Corner, and the Fujiko F·Fujio Museum – and receive a special clear‑file souvenir once all stamps are gathered.
At the same time, the Meitetsu railway network will run a Pokémon‑themed stamp rally from July 18 to September 23, 2026. Riders collect stamps at designated stations along the line in a 5×5 bingo grid; completing one line earns a special sticker, three lines a necklace, and a full card an acrylic key‑holder. Additional promotions include a wrapped‑train service, photo spots, and a free‑ride day ticket that grants a special pass case to participants who achieve at least one bingo.
Both campaigns aim to attract families and fans during the summer holiday period, offering themed merchandise and interactive experiences across cultural and transportation venues.
