Japan solar energy industry to hold series of upcoming seminars

Various upcoming seminars in Japan are scheduled to address the evolving solar energy and renewable power landscape.

The Japan Solar Energy Society (JSES) will host a seminar on November 30, 2026, at Waseda University. The event will focus on electricity demand, exploring topics such as big data, digital transformation (DX), green transformation (GX), and the integration of electric vehicles (EVs) into sustainable power systems.

Additionally, Solar Journal is organizing several industry events. These include a PV business seminar on August 28, 2025, focusing on perovskite technology and market strategies following the transition from FIT to FIP. On September 3, 2026, Cool Net Tokyo will host a seminar regarding decarbonization management and renewable energy subsidies in Tokyo. Finally, a seminar on September 15, 2026, will focus on the battery storage business, covering both high-voltage and low-voltage systems and next-generation revenue models.
