Japan Spirits Festival 2026 to be held in Tokyo

The Japan Spirits Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place on September 26 and 27. Due to construction at the previous venue, the event will move to the newly opened Otemachi Gate Building in Chiyoda, Tokyo.

The festival will feature over 30 distilleries from across Japan, ranging from Hokkaido to Okinawa. Attendees can sample various distilled spirits, including Japanese whisky, craft gin, shochu, awamori, and rum. Participation in tasting is facilitated through a cashless coin system, with coins available for purchase at the venue.

Admission to the festival is free, though tasting requires the purchase of specific coins. The event also offers soft drink options and provides opportunities to engage with distillers.
