Japan sports updates: Dunlop Tire contract and racing schedules

Various sports cycling and motorcycle racing updates have been announced in Japan. Dunlop Tire has been confirmed as the official one-make tire supplier for the MFJ Cup JP-SPORT Championship and regional JP-SPORT classes for the 2027–2029 seasons.

In track cycling, the schedules for the 2026 regional professional races and the 2027 All Japan Professional Championship (Zen-Pro) have been released. These events serve as qualifiers for elite Keirin athletes competing in high-level track disciplines.

Additionally, the JPF Presents MTB Challenge 2026 Kyoto Stage is scheduled for October 10 at KUMIGAWA BASE. The event, held in collaboration with the Kumiyama Town ‘KUMI-GAWA PROJECT’, features kids' races, endurance races, and professional lessons designed to promote mountain biking culture and local riverside revitalization.
