AI technology implementation expands through regional workshops and industrial expos

Various organizations in East Asia are hosting events and showcasing technologies focused on the practical implementation of Artificial Intelligence across different sectors.

In Taiwan, the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) held a Hybrid AI workshop in collaboration with the iOS Developer Community and Google Cloud. The event focused on helping enterprises navigate the complexities of integrating cloud and on-premise AI solutions to improve operational efficiency and data privacy.

In Japan, several major AI-focused events and seminars are scheduled. The AI Expo Fukuoka 2026 will feature solutions for labor shortages, including AI smart glasses for real-time translation and manufacturing AI for anomaly detection. Additionally, RX Japan will host Factory Innovation Week [Autumn] 2026 at Makuhari Messe, highlighting ‘Physical AI’—technology that combines AI brains with robotic bodies to handle complex, real-world tasks in manufacturing and logistics.

Other specialized initiatives include LeapAI’s networking event for executives to discuss AI agent utilization, and seminars focused on using AI for recruitment strategies in small and medium-sized enterprises. In the legal and intellectual property sector, PatVisual will demonstrate automated AI patent searching at the Intellectual Property & Information Fair & Conference 2026.
